Controls of the FLC-Editor

Control Function
Apply to visualization: Apply settings (color-palette, time- and bandwidth-related parameters etc.) of the current FLC to the current visualization.
Goto root: Create the visualization which the current FLC was derived from.
Minimize: Minimize the size of both the inner frame and the search frame of the current FLC.
Normalize Time: Normalize (set to zero) the start-time of the current FLC.
Scan Screen: Scan the current visualization and try to find instances of the current FLC. Result is a search record containing FL-Annotations. This search record is active in memory unless it is deleted by clicking the 'Delete Current Search Records' button in the VIS-Editor. Search records may be saved in data tables (see The Annotations Database Interface). Items in search records can be graphically mapped (projected) onto visualizations (see Visualization of Annotations).
Eraser: Open the eraser tool window. With the right mouse button pressed you can erase positive or negative parts of a signature by moving the mouse cursor. Positive parts are erased, if one of the green buttons is pressed. Negative parts are erased, if one of the red buttons is pressed. You can choose from thin, middle and thick erasers.
Highlight: Signatures can be displayed in highlight mode. In highlight mode, the positive part is green, the negative part is red and the neutral part is gray. Select in the 'Options' window under 'Editors > Highlight Mode' the parts of the signature that are displayed.
Auto Scan: Check to automatically scan the current visualization in the VIS-Editor. A graph of the correlation (or distance) of the current FLC vs. the current visualization is shown.
